The Olson Pedestal Dining Table is more than just a table, It's a tribute to one of the people who helped shape The Woodhills from the very beginning.

When we were first starting out, we were hesitant to build pedestal tables. The designing, balance, and craftsmanship pushed us well beyond our comfort zone. Charlie believed in us before we believed in ourselves. He encouraged us to take on the challenge, trusting that we were capable of creating something truly special. His confidence gave us the push we needed, and that leap became an important part of our journey as furniture makers.

Although Charlie has since passed, his influence continues to live on in our shop. Every Olson Pedestal Table is handcrafted from solid hardwood with the same dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and perseverance that he inspired in us years ago.

This design is our way of honoring his memory and saying thank you for believing in us when it mattered most.

Each table is built to order from solid hardwood and designed for real-life living — durable enough for everyday use, yet refined enough for special gatherings. With clean lines, timeless style, and comfortable seating for 4 to 12, it fits beautifully into both modern and traditional spaces. The base detaches for easy delivery, and every piece is handcrafted in Texas by our small, skilled team.

Our furniture is built from real, solid wood — no veneers, no shortcuts. Depending on the piece, we use hardwoods like white oak, maple, knotty alder, or eastern white pine — all hand-selected for beauty and strength. If you'd like to learn more about our wood options, click here.

To protect and highlight the natural grain, we apply 3–4 coats of high-performance water-based finish in a satin sheen. This creates a smooth, durable finish that resists moisture and everyday wear — while still feeling smooth and natural to the touch.

Because every piece is made from real wood, expect slight variations in grain, color, and texture — it’s part of what makes each item truly one of a kind.

Each table is made to order by our small team in Texas. Our current build time is 10-12 weeks, not including shipping.

Our metal tables require additional handcrafting and finishing. Please allow 12–14 weeks for these special pieces.

We’ll reach out as your piece nears completion to coordinate delivery.
