Natural and casual, this Cylinder Round Dining Table is pleasantly rounded from top to bottom. The cylinder base is paired with a perfectly round top. It's like a match made in heaven. Surely, it'll bring a modern presence to your dining or breakfast room. Shown here is a 60” Cylinder Round Dining Table stained in Teakwood.
DESIGN
The journey of this table begins at the base where we first mill 18 rough-cut slats to the same length, width, and thickness. Once the slats are milled, we add a chamfer to each of the long sides. This chamfer allows the base to naturally curve along each joint as it's assembled. As we glue each of the 18 sides together, we constantly check to ensure the base is proportioned perfectly. Once the base is glued, it then goes on to be sanded, stained, and paired with the top.
SIZE
As no two kinds of wood are exactly the same, we work with a 3/8" - 1/2" tolerance level. This tolerance allows us to ensure the detail, durability, and more importantly, your satisfaction stays at the top of our priority list. This table comes in 48", 54", and 60" diameters combined with a standard 30" height for comfort. We recommend a chair seat height of 18". If you are interested in a custom/exact size, color, or slight variation, please feel free to contact us.
ASSEMBLY
This table can be assembled in approx 10-15 minutes. The top will screw on using the provided clips. These clips slide into the slots on the frame and then screw into the top with the provided screws. All you will need is a drill or driver and a drill bit for the screws. Most commonly a #2 square bit or a T-17 star bit.
MAINTENANCE & DURABILITY
Maintenance is very easy! For your daily use, we like to recommend a damp soft cloth or napkin to clean minor smudges or spills! Every few weeks we recommend using Pledge or Orange Glo these can disinfect your table and make it look brand new once again. Other great options for daily use are Mrs.Myers, Murphy, or the Method Wood For Good Daily Cleaner.
We love working with different types of wood and are currently focusing on 5 types: Pine, Alder, White Oak, Red Oak, and Maple. This table is made from Pine which commonly has natural characteristics such as knots and cracks. We like to say that if you take care of the table, the table will take care of you! We have a Learn More page dedicated to understanding the different types of woods.
